Editorial Standards

Every article on My Aesthetic Guide follows the same rules. They exist so that a reader can trust a price range or a checklist without wondering who paid for it.

1. Prices are ranges, and we say where they come from

Aesthetic pricing in Malaysia varies by device, practitioner credentials and location. We publish ranges rather than single figures, note what moves a price up or down, and update articles when the market shifts. Where a figure cannot be verified, we say so.

2. No medical advice

We describe procedures, costs and questions to ask โ€” never whether you should have a treatment. Articles do not replace a consultation with a registered practitioner, and every treatment article carries that disclaimer.

3. No pay-for-praise

Clinics cannot buy a positive mention, a ranking, or a review. Sponsored placements are commercial slots, clearly labelled, and separated from editorial. We do not publish "best clinic" verdicts โ€” we give readers the criteria to judge for themselves.

4. Regulation matters

We consistently point readers to verifiable credentials โ€” including a practitioner's LCP (Letter of Credentialing and Privileging) status and MOH licensing โ€” because that, not marketing, is what separates providers.

5. Corrections

If we get something wrong, we fix it and note the change. Send corrections via the contact page.
